David is currently working on a 3D animation series featuring superhero characters on a mission to inspire young children and help with their development through early years... look out for the Super Geek Heroes

As a child, he was a reluctant reader and he hones the showcase presentations during his author visits to create a real buzz around reading and writing… and so far no one has been disappointed by his infectious enthusiasm of the written word!

David is proud to advocate two very worthwhile causes based in the South West. Having recently stepped down as patron, he continues to support Families for Children Adoptionbased at Buckfast Abbey and he is joint chancellor for Devon’s Children’s University in partnership with Plymouth University.

"Writing children's adventure stories to enthuse and inspire!"

David was born in 1964 in a mining village called Ravenfield, near Rotherham in South Yorkshire. Following a varied career of professional roles spanning over 30 years, he is now enjoying life as a writer of children's books and he is the creator of many exciting adventure stories.

Over the past fifteen years David has produced stories to capture the imagination of both children and adults. His first novel was published in 2009 and he is well renowned for the popular Bradley Baker adventures.

David is very excited and thrilled to have created a new picture book series called Jig & Saw about two adopted jigsaw pieces. Many stories are planned full of adventure when the characters discover “What’s in store behind the cupboard door!

And another exciting picture book series is featured on KidsCast TV. David has created Devon Farm Adventures based on a fictional farm visited by animals in search of something unusual. Current titles include; "A Pug's Tail" and "Hoot in a Boot".

”The author resides in the picturesque seaside town of Torquay in Devon with his wife and youngest daughter. He continues to write from his study at home and visits as many primary schools as possible throughout the UK to share his love of literacy.
